Festivities
Immediately after the parade, Downtown Dunedin is transported back in time as old fashioned Christmas activities and entertainment and yes, even snow, are spread throughout downtown. Children, families, and the young at heart can enjoy Clydesdale horse drawn carriage rides, Christmas caroling, festive bands, live music in Pioneer Park featuring "Modern Measure," old fashioned games, children’s crafts, roast marshmallows to create gooey s’mores, face painting, and slide down the “can’t miss” gigantic snow slides. New this year - Ice Skating! All ages can experience the thrill of ice skating and glide your way around the rink. We'll provide the skates, you create the memories. Handcarts provided for the young or less-experienced. And to cap of this great event - make sure to visit Santa Claus. Have you been naughty or nice? Let him know your Christmas wishes for the year and don't forget to have your camera ready to capture this precious moment.
