Step 1.Claw Truck Services

The Division provides Claw Truck Clean Up Services for large bulky items and big piles of brush.

  • Contact Solid Waste to request a site visit and estimate. To expedite this protocol customers may submit photos to SolidWaste@DunedinFL.net to receive an estimate.
  • Estimates are based on volume and must be inspected either in person or via photos.
  • Take photos from the street where the house is in the background to give an appropriate size perspective. Photos that are too close or blurry may still require a site visit.
  • Include address, name and contact number with online submissions.
  • Information on how bulk pile volume is calculated can be reviewed in our Estimating Procedure (DOC, 112KB).

Step 2.Roll-off Containers

  • Debris collected in 10, 20, or 30-yard roll-off containers are taken to a Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) for recycling, therefore it is important to avoid unacceptable materials.
  • Containers that exceed the weight limits will incur overweight charges that will be billed at the current Pinellas County Solid Waste per ton rate. Price sheet below and additional info below.
  • Our Hold Harmless Agreement & Unacceptable Materials List (PDF, 577KB) are required for temporary roll-off container rental.
  • Choose an area free of tree limbs, hanging wires, unattended cars, or any obstructions that might block the truck's access is essential.
    • Approach Length: 60 Feet
    • Lifting Height: 22 Feet

Step 3.Smaller Project Containers

  • The contents of the smaller project containers, 2, 4, or 6-yard containers are taken to the landfill, meaning that household (food waste) garbage is acceptable.
  • Never place concrete or hazardous waste such as paint or TV's in containers.
  • Choose an area free of tree limbs, hanging wires, unattended cars, or any obstructions that might block the truck's access is essential.
    • Approach Length: 30 Feet
    • Lifting Height: 20 Feet

Step 4.Pricing

  • Price includes delivery, 2 calendar weeks, removal, and disposal
  • Roll-off containers may incur additional fees if tonnage limit is exceeded
  • $5.15 per business day rental fee after initial 2 weeks
  • Rental timeframe and fee restarts if container is serviced and returned
  • Roll-off require a signed Hold Harmless Agreement by account holder
  • Unacceptable material will be involved as additonal fees
  • Customer must call for service or extension, not automatically picked up
  • Conveniently billed to your Dunedin Utility Account
