Building Board of Adjustment & Appeal

About

The Building Board of Adjustment and Appeal (BBAA) hears requests for variances and appeals to the provisions of the City's Building Codes and Floodplain Management Ordinance. The Local Planning Agency acts as the BBAA and hears cases when they arise.

Application Process

Applications for Appeals and Variances to the Florida Building Code or Floodplain Management Ordinance

Applicants are encouraged to meet with staff to review the proposal before submitting an application.

Application Fees

  • $250.00 each

Meetings

Board meetings are scheduled on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 3:00 p.m., and are subject to a quorum of the Board. The Board meets in the Commission Chambers located in City Hall at 737 Louden Avenue, Dunedin, FL 34698.
