Tennis & Pickleball

The City of Dunedin is embracing the increasingly popular game of pickleball and has enhanced the existing tennis facilities to include painted pickleball lines to both Highlander and Eagle Scout Courts, allowing for both tennis and pickleball play. Tennis and Pickleball can co-exist, succeed and continue to grow equally as many people play both sports.

Outdoor Tennis/Pickleball Courts

Courts are free to use and open every day from 7 am - 10 pm on a first-come, first-serve basis, except when in use by city programs. Players will need to bring their own rackets and balls. Pickleball players will need to bring their own net. Courts may not be used for private lessons or groups unless authorized in advance by the City of Dunedin. Instructor-led City of Dunedin programs and classes for tennis and pickleball are available for kids, teens, and adults. Browse the Parks & Recreation Magazine for details. Questions? Call 727-733-6728.

Please be informed: All fields located at Jerry Lake Recreation Complex will be closed for field maintenance beginning Wednesday, May 13th for approximately 4-6 weeks. The fields need to rest in order to recover from this park’s popularity, heavy utilization, dry weather conditions, and low reclaimed water supply and return to quality turf conditions. As an alternative, temporary soccer goals have been set-up in Highlander Park for recreational play. Additional time may be added to this closure should the field conditions continue to need improvement. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve the field conditions. Thank you.
