Curbside Recycling

The City provides all single-family homes a recycling cart included in monthly collection services. Recycling service is provided by a private contractor, currently Waste Pro. The City's Solid Waste Division manages the private contract and serves as the liaison to issues and requests. Service days occur on the same day as garbage and bulk/yard waste collection. Residents use this service at no additional cost.

Check your cart lid label for acceptable and unacceptable items.
If your label is deteriorated, please contact Solid Waste to request a replacement

Drop-off Recycling

The City has two convenient drop-off recycling centers available 24 hours per day for residents. Materials from these sites are processed at the same facility as curbside cart contents.
Drop off sites and curbside services are the same program. Please check the labels on the containers at drop off sites for acceptable and unacceptable materials.

Appliances and Electronics

Electronic devices such as televisions and computers contain heavy metals and gases that cannot be disposed of using traditional methods, should be separated from the waste stream.

The Solid Waste Division can assist you in recycling or properly disposing of electronics, appliances, and other waste that requires special handling. Additionally, Solid Waste can provide alternative, and often no cost options by contacting our office
