The Hale Senior Activity Center specializes in programs and classes specifically designed for ages 50 & older. Download the Monthly Newsletter for a schedule of classes including fitness & wellness, computer classes, dance lessons, social groups, support groups, card games, free educational seminars, monthly luncheons and local trips.

Banquet Hall Rentals - Wedding Receptions, Parties & Events
The Hale Center features two banquet halls: the Ballroom and the Sunshine Room. Have it your way, choose your caterer and plan your event. Alcohol is permitted with proper licensing.


  • The beautiful Ballroom (4,200 sq ft) seats up to 250 guests and is perfect for your wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, banquet or corporate luncheon. Its elegant setting is complete with chandeliers, dimming lights and full caterer's kitchen.

  • The Sunshine Room is an intimate and attractive room perfect for your Birthday, Anniversary, Sweet 16 or Bar Mitzvah party. It seats up to 100 guests and includes a kitchen.

The Hale Senior Activity Center has the distinct honor of being home to the Committee on Aging (COA). The Committee assists in projecting the needs of Dunedin's aging population and helps promote the development of plans and programs to meet these needs in order to contribute to the quality of aging in Dunedin.
