Communities for a Lifetime Awardcommunities.jpg

The Communities for a Lifetime Bureau is comprised of the following focus areas: Housing, Transportation, Employment, Health and Wellness, Volunteerism, and Intergenerational Programs.

committee_aging.jpgCity of Dunedin's Committee on Aging
The Hale Senior Activity Center has the distinct honor of being home to the City of Dunedin's Committee on Aging. The COA commonly meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 9:00 am. The Committee assists in projecting the needs of Dunedin's aging population and helps promote the development of plans and programs to meet these needs in order to contribute to the quality of aging in Dunedin. Recognizing that an elder ready community is beneficial to all ages, the Committee's activities are intergenerational in nature and include: Older Americans Month annual program, Senior Hall of Fame, Communities for a Lifetime action plan, intergenerational programs, and monthly meetings. Download Application

The Committee on Aging is holding a Food Drive. Non-perishable foods may be dropped off at the Hale Senior Activity Center, located at 330 Douglas Ave, Dunedin.
