Dunedin Parks & Recreation offers a variety of fun when school is out. Your child will have fun and thrive physically and socially through supervised sports, games, indoor and outdoor activities, crafts, music and more.


2020 Summer Camps
"Camp Dunedin" offers full-day and half-day camps for ages 4-17 from June 1-August 7, 2020. Camps include baseball, bagpipe, cooking, dance, golf, gymnastics, multi-sports, music, nature, outdoor wilderness, paddleboard & kayak, skateboard & trick scooter, tennis and theater. Our staff will provide your child with fun, organized games, activities and opportunities to develop and learn new skills, be adventurous and explore their imagination and creativity.

  • Registration opens at 8:00 am on Wednesday, March 11 at the Dunedin Community Center and continues until camps are full. Initial registration must be done in person.
  • Get a head start on completing the necessary paperwork - download the Parent Handbook and Camp Forms. Paperwork will not be accepted until registration officially opens on Weds, March 11, 8:00 am at the Dunedin Community Center. 
  • Download the Camp Dunedin Magazine to browse the full list of camps, fees and registration information. You can also pick up a copy at your nearest city facility including the Dunedin Library, Community Center, MLK Jr. Recreation Center, History Museum, City Hall, Utility Billing and 1415 Pinehurst (Permitting, Planning, City Clerk's Office).
  • Register / Pay Online (available after your initial camp registration is complete)

Scholarship Applications are available to children and teens of Dunedin whose families are in need of financial assistance for their child to participate in summer camps and other recreational programs. Scholarships are made possible through the George J. Koutsourais Dunedin for Youth Scholarship Fund and the generous donations of the community members, businesses, organizations and the fund raising efforts of the Dunedin Parks & Recreation Department.

Teen Leadership Program - Summer 2020
Dunedin Parks & Recreation staff work with teen volunteers (ages 13-16) to be a Teen Leader and work with adult mentors during summer camp and gain a valuable experience while learning leadership skills.

We've got your holiday child care covered.  Children will have an amazing experience trying new games, exploring new skills, making new friends and most of all having fun!

XtraRec is available 7:30-9 am and 5-6 pm for an additional fee.
