Why Parks and Recreation are Essential Public Services
City of Dunedin public playgrounds, including the outdoor Fit Zone at Weaver Park, will reopen Monday, June 1. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. Please use appropriate caution and follow all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention health and safety guidelines.
- Stay home if you feel sick and cover your coughs or sneezes
- Stay at least 6 feet from others
- Wash or sanitize your hands frequently
- Avoid crowds and gathering with others outside of your household
Please note: Due to summer camps beginning Monday, June 1st, the playgrounds at the Community Center and MLK, Jr. Recreation Center will remain closed to the general public Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 6:00 pm.
All other recreational facilities, including the Dunedin Community Center, MLK, Jr. Recreation Center, Hale Senior Activity Center and Kiwanis Sprayground remain closed to the general public.

As part of Duke Energy's continuing commitment to provide safe and reliable electrical service to our communities, crews will be working to maintain the transmission infrastructure over the spring and summer months.
