Downtown Dunedin is full of activities. The CRA Department works with the City's Parks and Recreation Department to host many events for residents and visitors.

We're pleased to share coverage of Dunedin on as a result of working with Christina Valhouli and suggesting activities while visiting the destination. 

The piece titled, "The Quaint, History-Filled Florida Beach Town That's Still a Secret" features Dunedin's rich history, activities and restaurants. It highlights Dunedin Highland Games & Festival, Dunedin Celtic Music and Craft Beer Festival, Dunedin History Museum, Penny Lane Beatles Museum, Rosie's Tavern, Stirling Art Studios & Gallery, Ann's Monroe Street Gallery, the orange murals, Key West Express Boutique, Emilia's Apothecary, Back in the Day Books, the Pinellas Trail, Dunedin Stadium, Honeymoon Island, CasaTina, Hog Island Fish Camp, Taco Baby, Strachan's Ice Cream and Dunedin Brewery!

 Downtown Market

Every Friday and Saturday from November thru June we hold a fresh market in John R. Lawrence Pioneer Park. It is filled with approximately 40 vendors selling food and handmade craft items, and weekly entertainment on the stage.

Arts & Crafts Festival

Four times a year we close Main Street for this popular event. Howard Alan Events brings over 200 vendors to sell their goods and refreshments. The Arts & Craft festivals are held in January, February, June and November.

Old Fashioned Christmas and Holiday Parade

Main Street is turned into a winter wonderland complete with entertainment, games, carriage rides and a holiday parade.  We even had snow.


Operation Twinkle

Welcome to the downtown area with a blanket of lights and decorations.Entryways are lit up, trees and wreaths and poinsettias cover our landscape. The City's annual Lamp Post Contest is held with participating merchants, business owners, churches, City departments and civic groups.
