Post Date:05/21/2020 2:00 PM

City of Dunedin public playgrounds, including the outdoor Fit Zone at Weaver Park, will reopen Monday, June 1st.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. Please use appropriate caution and follow all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention health and safety guidelines.

Play Smart, Play Safe! Help prevent the spread:

  • Stay home if you feel sick and cover your coughs or sneezes
  • Stay at least 6 feet from others
  • Wash or sanitize your hands frequently
  • Avoid crowds and gathering with others outside of your household

Please note:  Due to summer camps beginning Monday, June 1st, the playgrounds at the Community Center and MLK, Jr. Recreation Center will remain closed to the general public Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 6:00 pm.

All other recreational facilities, including the Dunedin Community Center, MLK, Jr. Recreation Center, Hale Senior Activity Center and Kiwanis Sprayground remain closed to the general public.

For more information, visit the playgrounds webpage or call Dunedin Parks & Recreation at 727-812-4530.
