Below is a list of special events taking place in Dunedin for the month of December 2018. 

  • Saturday, December 1:  Breakfast with Santa, 9 AM, Dunedin Community Center.  For more information call the Dunedin Parks & Recreation Department at (727) 812-4530 or visit www.DunedinGov.com/events.
  • Saturday, December 1:  Dunedin Youth Guild Holiday Tour of Homes, 10 AM-4 PM, various local homes.  Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 day of; tickets can be purchased at Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, Hale Center, Dunedin Community Center, Dunedin Fine Art Center or from a DYG member.  For more information call the Dunedin Youth Guild at (727) 734-0394.
  • Saturday, December 1:  Holiday Boat Parade & Tree Lighting, 6-9 PM, Dunedin Marina/Edgewater Park.  Parade Route:  From Marker 1 Marina, south along the intracoastal to Union Street, return north to Dunedin Marina.  Boats arrive at Dunedin Marina at approximately 7 PM.  Limited viewing at Weaver Park and along  Bayshore Blvd. and Edgewater Drive.  Holiday music, Santa’s arrival by boat, Tree Lighting, concessions by Olde Bay Café and s’mores.  Limited seating; bring lawn chairs.   For more information call the Dunedin Parks & Recreation Department at (727) 812-4530 or (727) 738-2920.  Sponsored by The Bernd Group and Jimmy John’s.

  • Saturday, December 8:  Old Fashioned Christmas and Holiday Parade, 4-9 PM, Downtown Dunedin.  Parade (sponsored by Dunedin Youth Guild) begins at 4 PM on Douglas Avenue.  Carriage Rides, Train Rides, Kids Crafts & Games, Live Music & Entertainment (sponsored by Achieva, DEX Imaging and Jimmy John’s), Snow Slide and Santa Claus!  For more information visit www.DunedinGov.com/events or call the Dunedin Parks & Recreation Department at (727) 812-4530.

  • Wednesday, December 12:  Blood Drive, 9:30 AM-2:30 PM, Dunedin Community Center.  Donors will receive a free fleece blanket (see attached) and wellness check.
