Heather Gracy was sworn in as Commissioner for the City of Dunedin on November 19, 2012 and elected Vice-Mayor on November 20, 2014. She is a graduate of Clearwater Central Catholic High School, where she met her husband, Andrew. Heather studied English and Mass Communications at the Florida State University in Tallahassee, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1992.

At home in Dunedin, Heather spent nearly a decade working for a worldwide mutual fund company with offices in St. Petersburg. She began as a business writer handling correspondence on fund performance, received her Series 6 License and transitioned into management, before moving into a legal analyst position.
As a Dunedin elected official, she serves as the City Commission’s liaison to the Dunedin Highland Games & Festival Committee and is a member of the Executive Committee for the Suncoast League of Cities. Additionally, Heather is the Commission's selection for their Dunedin School Liaison. As such, she holds quarterly meetings for all public, charter and private school Principals in Dunedin, and has been appointed to serve on the Pinellas Collaborative and the School Transportation Safety Committee on behalf of Pinellas County's Metropolitan Planning Organization.
As a graduate of Leadership Pinellas, Class of 2014, Heather continues an active role and enjoys participating in their Government and Media program day, as well as speaking and chaperoning for Youth Leadership Pinellas. Heather and her husband, Andrew, have three daughters and feel privileged to raise them in Dunedin; a place where culture, natural beauty, shorelines and community involvement intersect to provide our high quality of life.
