Debris Pickup Update 9/16
• Solid Waste will be back on schedule with the green and blue carts starting Monday, TBD when special services will resume. Commercial accounts are caught up.
• The disaster debris hauler will begin Monday 9/18
• How the hauler operates is different from how we operate in that they follow FEMA guidelines
• The hauler makes several passes through the City with different types of equipment working in grids or sectors
• Different piles of debris may be removed at different times or days
• Dunedin crews will be picking up a limited amount of vegetation in conjunction with the debris hauler, mainly bagged debris
• Separate lumber and vegetation (don’t mix bags and loose debris)
• Bagged leaves are ok, but keep as much brush loose as possible
• Do not stage debris under power lines or over water meters or more than 10 feet from the curb
• Cart customers in private communities contact HOA or Management Company, they are or will be in touch with our office if needed
• Debris removal for unincorporated areas is under contract with Pinellas County and they are starting Monday 9/18.
• Please beware of scammers, no Dunedin employee or contractor will ever ask you for money
• Please try to be patient, we know the power outage is frustrating; many Solid Waste employees are still without power, so we’re in this together and are working very hard to get our Delightful Dunedin back!

Thank you for your cooperation and patience as a community Dunedin! #IrmaDunedin #PinellasIrma
