The Dunedin Public Library houses the Mease Memorial Genealogy Collection, donated by the late Dr. John A. Mease, Jr. In addition to this colleciton, which focuses primarily on records of the colonial era, there are materials of local interest, census indexes, and a variety of how-to guides.

The Library also provides access to four genealogical databases:

  • Ancestry.com
  • Family History Resource File
  • Heritage Quest
  • Personal Ancestral File

Volunteers from the Caladesi chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution are on hand every Thursday afternoon from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. to assist patrons with genealogical research.
