LEARN CARD MAGIC WITH MASTER MAGICIAN BILL KAHN
Mr. Kahn will demostrate how to entertain with a common deck of playing cards in two
2-hour workshops jam-packed with card magic you can do! He will also bring copies of his latest book on card magic called Kahncepts.

THE DUNEDIN YACHT CLUB CROWD AT THE TURN OF THE CENTURY
(Includes early history of the Dunedin Public Library)
Presented by Alfred and Dorothy Malone Hamilton. Dorothy Malone Hamilton is a descendent of the Malone family who dominated social life in Dunedin in the later 19th century. She and her husband, Alfred, have written a book on her ancestors which includes Dunedin history. Copies of the book will be available for sale following the program.

Presented by Katarina Tepesh, author of her autobiography,
Escape from Despair: A Croatian Family's Survival
Katarina Tepesh's autobiography is a harrowing and engagingly straighforward account of her family history in communist Yugoslavia and then in the United States after fleeing an abusive and alcoholic father in 1968.
October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

PEAK OF THE THE DEVIL: 100 QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS ABOUT PEAK OIL presented by Chip Haynes.
Chip Haynes will discuss his book in which he answers 100 of the most significant questions about peak oil with an educated and quirky sense of humor, making a harsh, unpleasant subject a little easier to understand.
A book-signing will follow the program.
