Caio Adams
As part of his 4th grade service project, Caio chose to
educate teachers and students about the many benefits of recycling
and work to increase the amount of recycling at Curtis Fundamental
Elementary School. Caio involved Curtis' multi-cultural
group, utilized community resources, and as a result, all
classrooms at Curtis are now collecting mixed paper for
recycling. Caio also participates in numerous City sponsored
events and volunteer activities including litter cleanups.

Royal Stewart Arms
Royal Stewart Arms (RSA), with assistance from Pinellas
County Extension and a beautification grant from the City, has
installed rain gauges, drip irrigation, and drought and wind
tolerant plants. Because of their efforts, the
complex's water use has decreased by 12 million gallons and
has saved almost $50,000 over a two year period. RSA has been
featured in several local publications and serves as an example of
how residential complexes can save money by conserving resources.
