Offer...
The Dunedin Community Center, located in Highlander Park, is a multi-purpose facility offering a full fitness center, dance and exercise studios, a large multi-purpose room with a full-size stage, a recording studio, and more. Overlooking Wee Loch Ness, it’s also the perfect place for your next get-together, corporate event, or wedding reception.

Programs
The Center provides a wide variety of leisure-time
classes and activities for preschoolers, youth and adults. Various
local civic, fraternal and service organizations hold many citywide
special events at the Center, like the Junior Service League's "Art
Harvest" and the Scottish Highland Games. Municipal functions such
as voting, public hearings, education sessions and forums are also
held here.

Boundless Playground
The facility also includes a "Boundless Playground"
for children. Governor Bush pledged support of the "boundless"
playground concept with a goal of 50 Florida cities to provide
these unique playgrounds which serve children of all abilities.
Through a "Be A Player" partnership with the Dunedin Kiwanis Club,
and the Dunedin Boat Club, the City of Dunedin is proud to include
this playground on the grounds of the new Center.
Highlander Pavilion
Highlander Pavilion built with funds donated by
Dunedin North Rotary Club is located on the grounds lakeside and
hosts many outdoor functions. The pavilion creates a picturesque
outdoor wedding location and is available for rentals
year-round.
It's a Green Building
The new center has been planned, designed and
constructed in conformance with the U.S. Green Building Council's
(USGBC) LEED Rating System. LEED is an acronym for Leadership in
Energy and Environmental Design. With LEED standards, the USGBC
seeks to enhance the way buildings are designed, built and
maintained, with emphasis on environmental and social
responsibility.

Sponsorship Opportunities
With the support of the Kiwanis Club and the
Dunedin Youth Guild, there are many sponsorship opportunities
available for citizens and local businesses to take part in and
help support the new Community Center & the Boundless
Playground. Sponsorship programs include:
