The Dunedin Public Library offers reference service seven
days a week during the time period the library is open. Our
friendly staff will be happy to assist you with answering questions
and helping you access materials of interest. If you would like to

Online Databases -- Access these databases from the library or
home:
Biography Resource Center-- This Gale database contains award-winning biographies from
various sources.
Business and Company Resource Center-- A Gale database with company profiles, brand information,
rankings, investment reports, company histories, chronologies and
periodicals.
Chilton Automotive
Database-- Browse through a list of vehicles to obtain vehicle repair
information, specific vehicle maintenance, recalls and Technical
Services Bulletins.
Health and
Wellness Resource Center -- a Gale database that includes
magazine and newspaper articles as well as other resources on
health issues.
InfoTrac OneFile -- Access
full text titles and newspaper indexes in this large database of
general interest magazines, newswires, and periodicals.
Literature
Resource Center -- a Gale database enabling you to find
biographies, bibliographies, and literary criticism on novelists,
poets, and playwrights.

Reference Center Gold -- Two databases that contain business
and residential listings to help you locate households and
companies anywhere in the United States.
NetLibrary --
Sign up in the Library to access electronic books. You may then use
your log in and password in the Library or at home to "check-out"
and read electronic books.
World Book Online-- The premier online reference source
containing every article from the 22-volume encyclopedia print set
plus thousands more. With state-of-the-art multimedia,
editor-reviewed websites, and more! Includes World Book Kids and
Spanish Online.
In-House Databases: Access these databases inside the
Library:
AncestryPlus -- With over 1.2 billion records in over 3,000
databases, you can search genealogical and local history. Included
are the digitized images of the U.S. Federal Census from 1790
forward, the American Genealogical Biographical Index, Passenger
and Immigration Lists Index, and more.
First Search -- Allows you to locate books in public,
college and special libraries around the world.
Heritage Quest -- A growing collection of resource
materials for tracing family history and American culture. Includes
census records, local histories and printed genealogies.
Infotrac Magazine Index -- Locate magazine articles on a
wide range of topics. Many contain the full printable text of the
article.

Ask a Librarian
Ask a Librarian is a collaborative "Virtual" reference desk
