  • THE CITY OF DUNEDIN RECEIVES COMMUNITIES FOR A LIFETIME AWARD
    The City of Dunedin Florida has been awarded the 2009 “Communities for a Lifetime” Award, by the Communities for a Lifetime Department of Elder Affairs. Dunedin was the first ever recipient of this award in 2007, this is the second time the City has received the award.

  • STORMWATER ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO FORM
    Applications are being accepted from Dunedin residents for consideration of appointment to the City's Stormwater Advisory Committee (SAC) to address the needs and concerns of the City stormwater system and its environmental impacts on City drainage basins and local waterways.

    Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicle Fees will increase Sept.
    1, 2009. Pinellas County motorists are advised to GO-4-2! and lock in the old rates with a two-year registration prior to the increases taking effect on September 1, 2009.

    Please join us on Friday, July 10 at 11:30 a.m. to discuss the City's design review process improvements and will include Form Based Code for Corridors, Incentive Zoning, Sign Code, Compatability Ordinance, and Green Building design initiatives.

  • NEW PINELLAS COUNTY SHERIFF PROGRAM REQUIRES HOME AND BUSINESS OWNERS TO REGISTER ALARM SYSTEMS
    A 2009 Pinellas County ordinance requires home and business owners to register their alarm systems with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. The ordinance has also implemented a fine schedule for any false alarms which may occur at that home or business. On July 1, 2009, Pinellas County deputy sheriffs will begin enforcing this ordinance by citing property owners for false alarm incidents.

  • DUNEDIN WATER RESTRICTIONS TO REMAIN UNCHANGED-UPDATED 4/15/2009
    The Southwest Florida Water Management District's (SWFWMD) Governing Board met March 31, 2009 and voted to enact Modified Phase IV (or Critical) Water Shortage restrictions for potable water use for the member government's of Tampa Bay Water. The remaining municipalities, including Dunedin, will continue to follow the Modified Phase III (or Extreme) Water Shortage restrictions already in place.
